Make sure the doorway is big enough for your dog to enter the kennel comfortably and that when inside your dog will be able to stand in comfort and is able to move around the kennel with ease.

Measure your dog and check the kennel entrance size.

Does your dog sleep curled up or sprawled out, these are the main criteria when choosing the correct Wooden Dog Kennel for your dog.

Your dog will not mind having to dip his head to enter the kennel but if he has to crouch to get in then the entrance (and probably the kennel) is too small. As a general guide if you have any doubts about the size of the kennel you are considering it may be a good idea to look at the next size up.
